Afterschool Heals Workshop Nov. 8

Through our final year of AmerisourceBergen Foundation grant funding, we are updating all of our United We Heal TN and Afterschool Heals TN tool kits, curricula, and other resources.  We also have been supporting the United Ways in WVA and the WVA afterschool network in replicating our work.  At this one-hour forum, we will break into groups to unveil all the new resources.  The United We Heal initiative is a tremendous way to support your corporate partners with free a toolkit to respond to our state’s substance abuse crisis (opioids, meth and beyond).  The Afterschool kit similarly provides tons of resources for any organizations supporting children and youth around substance use prevention, ACES, social/emotional learning, and trauma informed care.

We hope that you and/or staff will attend, and we encourage you to invite your chambers, corporate partners, and out-of-school time providers to join as well.  The event and all the materials and resources are free.  For more background, links to our previous toolkits and curricula which we will be updating/expanding for a post pandemic world are here:  https://uwtn.org/102/united-we-heal and http://www.tnafterschool.org/about/afterschool-heals-tennessee/  Please share widely with staff and partners, and reach out with any questions. Register here for November 8.
