This holiday season, help us celebrate the people who make afterschool great! Join the gratitude campaign and thank afterschool staff who are making a difference in the lives of youth and families, or share the “why” driving your own commitment to afterschool.
On social media, you can:
- Share a photo of your staff members and a message of appreciation
- Share a story about an afterschool staff member that went above and beyond
- Interview an afterschool staff member and share their video
- Make a highlight reel of all of your staff
- Share student art thanking afterschool staff
- If you are part of an afterschool program, share your story of why you love working in afterschool
- Join our Tweetstorm on December 16 to share stories of your afterschool staff
The Afterschool Alliance will randomly choose ten people to win a $100 gift card. All you have to do is share a post highlighting your afterschool staff and include the #ThisIsAfterschool hashtag.
